There are no time clocks in Barbara's workroom She works all day and every day on her creations and loves every minute of it. Not just a gifted milliner, Barbara Allen is an artist.

Each hat has been completely hand made, beginning with the dyes, all mixed by hand. The embellishments of ribbons, flowers, etc., are also hand dyed to match each hat. Barbara could not find the colors she wanted in commercial dyes so had to mix them herself to find the colors that matched her vision of softness and femininity.
