I practically grew up in my mother's little sewing room, watching her sew on sequins,
attaching feathers and rhinestones, creating the fashionable hats of that
time.
They have a just a touch of vintage and are elegant,
embodying an era when woman wore them, and it is my goal to rekindle
those feelings about hats; that certain mystique they
impart on a woman, embracing and enhancing her femininity.
We will be constantly introducing new styles and designs, so do come
back soon, and thank you for visiting my site.

I think I must
have inherited a hat gene from my mother who made hats in the 20's and 30's.
I've always known what a woman wants in a hat.
I've brought to this art all my mother's expertise; mixing my own dyes for soft powdery
shades, and shaping the brims by hand--many different things that make Barbara Allen
Hats look fabulous and feel wonderful.
